The 70th anniversary celebration of the National Forestry School Mbalmayo which was presided over by the Secretary General Of MINFOF representing the Minister of MINFOF.
After many years of existance of the NFS institution that was first created in the year 1949 by the then president of the Republic of Cameroon, It was time for the country under the patronage of President Paul Piya through the Ministry of Forestry and Wild life to celebrate the successes and human resource contributions that this institution has made to the nation and the people of Cameroon for the past 70 years.
This institution which started as a Forestry Training Center (CAF). and today transformed to the now National Forestry School where forestry technicians are being trained.
One never injured multi-marathoner’s stride was so smooth, she ran like an insect over water. Weight was not a factor, with heavy runners among the light-footed and lighter runners among the stompers.
On this day of the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the National Forestry School, the celebration was dual. There was also the graduation ceremony of the 70th batch of students from this pristine institution.
Gallery talks are offered by curators, conservators, fellows, and other museums staff; they focus on aspects of the installation process, exploring both intellectual and more practical considerations. Museums staff will, for example, tease out arguments at play in the galleries, discuss conservation treatments, look closely at specific collections, or draw connections between works of art throughout the museums.
